2007 Acura MDX

Smooth, quiet, and capable, it’s an Acura.
Acura MDX Sports-Entertainment 4WD (2007)

The MDX follows the now legendary tradition of Acura. That is one of many positive accolades that include quality, engineering and value.

The MDX is the largest of the Acura crossovers, with seven available seats yet feeling smaller and more nimble than even a mid-sized equivalent.

Front passenger space is excellently executed, that includes lots of thoughtful cubby-holes and even an “oh-wow” discrete storage area on the side of the passenger’s foot-well that has an accordion door to shelter it from curious eyes.

Dash instruments and multi-function display are well shown and presented. There is complete information on the mechanicals plus trip and vehicle information accessed right from the turn signal stalk.

The center dash is full of buttons and controls that were not intuitive, however, once figured out, they were fairly easy to use. We liked the soothing blue tinted accent lighting emanating from the top. The sound system has an in-dash six CD changer as well as built-in satellite radio ready.

The MDX has a smooth and capable engine and suspension that will take and accept almost anything that you throw at it, situations such as off road terrain, uneven city streets, even a large puddle.

Rear seats were spacious and comfortable with excellent visibility and ventilation. Third row seats were acceptable in case you need to transport a large number of people, but I would not recommend long trips in the third row unless you are a smaller sized person or of younger age.

The Acura MDX does everything well in addition to getting the reliability and dependability for which Acura is known for.
